Sleep is overrated...

...well, sleeping at night is, in any case.  All that perfectly good 'everybody-else-is-asleep-more-bandwidth-for-me' surfing time, go to waste?  Pffft.

Back in SD now, back to the same old routine (sleep all day, get up around 7pm, order pizza, and surf all night).  About the most interesting thing I did in the entire last week was watch the Fresno State/USC game night before last (we came so CLOSE!!!), that was one heck of a show.  Very nice showing by the 'Dogs, even if I was tempted to turn the TV off a couple of times early on in the third.  Apparently, turnovers aside, they did well enough to keep their spot in the AP and USA Today rankings, not to mention causing USC to lose six first-place votes to #2 Texas in the process.  Woof.

Hrm...I really did have other stuff I was going to write about, but I completely forgot most of them.  Ah, well...I'll post something else later if any of it comes back to mind.

The entire SpecMode archive from the past couple years can be found at:  http://www.specmode.net/blogger/

If you came here because you got a 404 from a search engine link, don't despair: the page is still there!  (OK, that was a bit corny...)  Click your 'back' button, and add the text blogger/ right after the www.specmode.net/ address.

[example:  http://www.specmode.net/2005/04/tiger-topic-of-interest-spotlight-and.htm should be edited to read http://www.specmode.net/blogger/2005/04/tiger-topic-of-interest-spotlight-and.htm]

EDIT:  Oops.  I forgot about everything in the images folder...hmm.  It might take a bit, but I'll see about getting those all back online sometime in the next week or so.

The domain transfer should be just about complete (at least it seems so from my end), so let me welcome you to the new Spectator Mode, featuring Movable Type!  OK, maybe it's not all that flashy yet, but I'll be working on that in the weeks to come.  In the meantime, I'm working on publishing the contents of the original Spectator Mode blog in a temporary directory here until I can figure out a way to port everything to the MT database.
